Blayney Shire Council wishes to notify the Blayney Shire that it has commenced preparation of the Blayney Villages Land Use Strategy.
The Villages Strategy will set the planning framework for the growth and/or maintenance of the villages of Blayney, Millthorpe, Carcoar, Mandurama, Lyndhurst, Neville, Barry and Newbridge for the next 10-20 years. The Villages Strategy will inform the preparation of the new Blayney Local Environmental Plan and Development Control Plan.
The community will be provided with a range of opportunities to provide input into the Villages Strategy. One of those opportunities is a series of short village workshops that will discuss the key opportunities and constraints to growth in that village and some of the issues the local community would like to see addressed. Council invites members of each community to attend the relevant workshop for their village at the locations and times set out below.
